Clear comes to iPhone

Whilst it’s not a to-do app in the GTD sense of things, Clear takes a simplistic and gorgeous approach at re-working to-do apps for your phone. Developed by design heros RealMacSoftware, Clear completely relies on gestures to work the entire app, even to the extent where you need to ‘drag’ down multiple times to access your settings within the app.

It’s very cleverly designed, with beautiful sounds. Check it out for sheer beauty factor, but don’t expect to use this app for too long. Despite Steve Job’s desire to have apps entirely gesture based, we are currently programmed to want and look for buttons to make us feel comfortable with apps both on mobile and desktop counterparts. With no visible buttons to tap, the app feels empty and doesn’t evoke a ‘good’ user experience despite looking and feeling super slick.
